Chardonnay - Clone 3,4, 5 (UCD)
Description: This the California 'weed-clone, i.e. created by heat-treatment from whatever UCD happened to have according in view of French breeders. The clone is characterized by its high yellow pigment production, which produces norisoprenoid defects. It too is NOT a cultivar of a modern French Chardonnay released, certified by the French government authorities and available under the ENTAV/INRA (L'Etablissement National Technique pour l'Amélioration de la Viticulture/Institut National de la Recherche).
