Malbec - Clones 2, 595
Description: Malbec - Clone 2, 595. Clone-2 is UCD and Clone-595 is FPMS. Description: These are the available clones; but they are different. Clone-2 is a bit of a weedy grower and is potentially problematic with respect to viruses, rootstocks, and growing habits. Clone-595 is an upright grower, not weedy, but is prone to bloom time weather induced shatter. What is nice about both is the Tannin tops out at about 1100-1200 with high concentrations of Complex Anthocyanin pigments. Rating: 70
