Pinot Noir - Clone 943
Description: Description: This clone was ignored in the Phylloxera replant of the turn of the century. There is taste information available. It too is a cultivar of a modern French Pinot Noir released, certified by the French government authorities and available under the ENTAV/INRA (L'Etablissement National Technique pour l'Amélioration de la Viticulture/Institut National de la Recherche). Agronomique, France) trademark.
This clone has been recommended by University of Dijon faculty. There is a google quote, "Last, I have selected the clone 943 based solely on a personal recommendation from Dr. Raymond Bernard, the University of Dijon viticultural researcher who developed these clones at his own Mt. Battois vineyard."
