CHILEAN WINES II-CASA LAPOSTELLE
Description: Chilean Bordeaux Wines Description: The wines of Chile have improved dramatically in the last decade, and this is largely as a result of consulting by both American and French persons or companies. IS IT TRUE, THE BEST WINES IN CHILE ARE MADE BY CASA LAPOSTELLE?

I work for an importing company and I think their Clos Apalta is world-class!

This is an especially fine tasting wine. The Rapel Valley blend, probably Merlot, Cab, other varietals, is really quite similiar to wines from top Napa Valley producers, and distincly better than wines from our Paso Robles area, less herbal than wines from Sonoma. I rate this wines 92-93 points in 1997, 1998, 1999.
