Heating a must is easy with a tube in tube heat exchanger. I recommend a minimum of twenty feet for a small winery that wants to heat a 2000 to 3500 gallon tank of fermenting must or wine. What do others use.

We use a tube in shell heat exchanger after a screened pumpover sump. It works great but you need some form of recirculating hot water(a recirc. steam cleaner would work) as a heat source. It also works with glycol for quick chilling.
