An representative for Saury USA called and talked to DM to say, 'Saury does not have forest designated, labeled, barrels for sale' effective July 2012.

These are good barrels for Sonoma County Bordeaux blends, nonetheless the Tonnellerie O is a close competitor.

The barrel works in ALL regions except for Mendocino and regions north. My tasting notes show that this is the perfect barrel for Cabernet Sauvignons from Santa Cruz north to Sonoma, and East to Napa. The taste quality melds with wines from Region III (Napa) and does not make Santa Cruz and Sonoma wines herbal. This is one of our favorite barrels to recommend.

This barrel has been a successful match for Cabernet Sauvignons in Pritchard Hill, Napa Valley and Santa Cruz Mountains Terroirs.
